1. Name
This organization will be recognized as Ethics Club Bangladesh, or in brief, Ethics Club.
2. Type
This is a non-profit, non-political, non-communal and progressive social organization working at the national level at present and gradually becoming international in scope.
3. Office
The Headquarters of Ethics Club Bangladesh will be in Dhaka.
4. Goal and Objective
To build a new generation honest, non-fundamentalist, patriotic, liberal and scientific attitudes and strong ethical values.
5. Work Area
It will cover all educational institutes and professional, business and social organizations first in the country and then gradually will reach organizations across the world.

8. Membership
a. Any student or teacher 14 years old or above belonging to any educational institution who is respectful of the sovereignty of the country and in agreement with the Declaration and Constitution of Ethics Club Bangladesh is eligible to be a member of the organization.
b. The Monthly contribution of each member is Tk. 10, which is to be paid regularly.
c. The candidate for membership must apply on the given application form. The application form, with approval by the branch and district Coordinators should be sent to the President of the Central Committee. The President of the Central Committee shall give membership to the candidate.
d. Every member has the right to give up membership. But one should mention the reason in the resignation letter for one´s wish to give up the membership.
e. Ethics Club Bangladesh will have Support Members and an Advisory Committee. Ex-students of educational institutions will be able to take part in the regular activities of the organization as Support Members of the branch committee by paying their monthly contribution.
f. Those who will be in agreement with the goals, objectives and activities of the organization can be Support Members of the Central Committee of Ethics Club Bangladesh. Central Support Members must pay the regular monthly contribution and provide necessary advices and support to the organization.
9. The organizational structure of Ethics Club Bangladesh is as follows:
a. Central Committee
The Ethics Club Bangladesh Society and Scholars Bangladesh shall jointly conduct the activities of the Ethics Club Bangladesh across the country. A 19-member Advisory Committee will be formed to support the running of Ethics Club.
b. District Committee
The Branch Committees will elect members for the District Committee and the elected members will assign positions to themselves through vote. The District Committee will have to be approved by the Central Committee. It will consist of at most 23 members.

Treasurer – 1 person
Secretary – 5 persons
Member – 5 to 17 persons
Total Members – 19 to 31 persons
c. Branch Committee
Local Members will form a Branch Committee through an election. The Branch Committee will have to be approved by the District Committee and then the Central Committee. It will consist of at most 21 members.

Treasurer – 1 person
Secretary – 5 persons
Member – 3 to 7 persons
Total Members – 17 to 21 persons
There can be more than one branch and an advisory committee to coordinate between them in an educational institution. The Advisory Committee will be formed by teachers of that educational institution and will consist of 3 to 5 members. There will be an Advisory Committee for professional, business and other social organizations too.
10. Activities
a. The Central Committee, District Committees and Branch Committees of Ethics Club Bangladesh will regularly organize meetings, discussions, seminars, conferences, etc. Every year, the District Committee will organize a conference of its members and the Central Committee will organize a national conference in Dhaka with members from across the country. The annual work plan of the Ethics Club will be declared at the national conference.
b. i. The President of the Central Committee will be regarded as the chief of the organization. She/he shall ensure proper the implementation of each clause of the constitution. She/he shall ask the General Secretary to call a meeting of the organization. S/he himself/herself shall call the meeting in case of the failure of the General Secretary to act as per instruction.
b. ii. The Vice-President shall assist the President in all activities of the organization. She/he shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The Vice-Presidents, following the order of their seniority, shall bear all responsibilities and enjoy all rights of the President in case of his/her absence.
b. iii. The General Secretary is the chief executive of the organization. She/he shall call meetings as per the instruction of the President and assign duties to others. She/he shall coordinate all activities the organization.
b. iv. The Assistant General Secretary of Ethics Club shall assist the General Secretary in all activities in the organization. She/he shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. She/he as per the order of seniority, shall bear all responsibilities and enjoy all rights of the General Secretary in his/her absence.
b.v. The Treasurer shall maintain all accounts of income and expenditure in the organization. She/he shall plan for the collection of funds and take initiative to implement it.
b.vi. Any member of an executive committee of Ethics Club Bangladesh shall accomplish duties assigned to him/her by the relevant committee. She/he will remain responsible to the executive committee for his/her work.
11. Collection of Funds
a. Monthly contributions of members
b. Grants and donations by the persons or institutions
c. Contributions, grants, donations, etc. from Support Members. It should be noted here that no financial support will be accepted from any person or institution if there is an allegation of immorality, dishonesty and corruption against them.
d. The responsible person for organizing a function or ceremony will submit an account of all incomes and expenditures related to it to the President within one week after the occasion.
e. The accounts shall be audited once a year. The audit report will have to be submitted by July at the end of the financial year.
12. Discipline and removal of a member
If a member commits any act contradictory to the declaration and constitution of Ethics Club Bangladesh, she/he will be removed from the organization for violation of discipline after a proper investigation of the matter. But the decision of removal has to be approved by the central committee.
13. Interpretation of the constitution
The President of the Branch Committee or the District Committee has the capacity of giving an interpretation of the constitution if any confusion or controversy arises about something. But the President of the Central Committee has the ultimate authority to give the final interpretation of anything in the Constitution of the organization.
14. To hold a bi-annual conference of the branch parliaments, the district parliaments and the central parliament.
15. Each branch of the Ethics Club can undertake programs for social development at the local level, subject to the approval of the Central Committee.
